Crystal Mountain’s program provides two options to meet your scheduling needs. The first option is for people who want to get started in the profession right away. Classes meet during the day for between six months to one year for completion. The second option is an evening program which is often suitable for people who work full-time. It runs twice a year and takes between eleven to sixteen months to complete. The amount of time it takes to complete the program depends on how the student schedules his or her hands-on clinical hours.
Our state registered and approved Massage Therapy Licensure Program includes a total of 675-700 hours of training. 525-550 hours of this program are completed in the classroom. The remaining 150 hours are completed in the student clinic program. These 150 hands-on clinical hours are completed outside of, and in addition to, class time.
Because of other responsibilities such as work, family, etcetera, students are allowed up to one year (for the day program) or 16 months (for the evening program) to complete their student clinic requirements. However, some students complete all their clinic requirements during the time they are in school and are able to graduate in six months for the day program, and in eleven months for the evening program.
