Body language. Eye contact. Gestures. Explanations. Silences. In New
Mexico, our diverse cultural groups may have very different viewpoints
about what constitutes polite behavior, and clear communication. This
workshop will compare and contrast Native American, Hispanic, and
Anglo communication and cultural features that are common to our
region. Discussion and activities will help attendees develop effective
conversational skills, signage, forms, learning tools, and treatment
spaces that serve the needs of diverse population groups in New
Mexico. If you are a massage therapist or instructor, this workshop will
help you to more effectively interact with local and regional clients, and
students.
Cost: $85 + tax
