New Mexico Massage Therapy School History |

 Crystal Mountain has a long massage therapy school history. The school was established in 1980 as one of the first massage therapy clinics in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We began teaching massage therapy classes in 1982 through the Continuing Education program at the University of New Mexico.
Interest in massage grew from these classes until in 1988 we expanded to offer a 200-hour massage therapy school certification program. With passage of the New Mexico Massage Therapy Act in 1992, we expanded our program again to offer 675-700 hours of comprehensive massage therapy school education. In 2005 we became accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy School Accreditation. We continue to provide short basic massage classes for the general public and advanced education classes for licensed therapists in addition to our day and evening programs leading to licensure.
