Bataan Event Management CE Class (6 CE's for $35!)/Bataan Memorial Death March 2012

Crystal Mountain will be providing massage for the 9th year in a row to the marchers attending the Baatan Memorial Death March at the White Sands Missile Range in Las Cruces, NM.

An Event  Management CE class will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 10:00am-Noon prior to the March on Sunday March 25.  This class will cover how to organize and run a large massage event. On Sunday March 25, you will practice these skills at the March.

We will be offering 6CE's for $35. In order to get all 6 CE's you need to attend the 2 hour class and the entire Bataan event on the next day. See the attached PDF for more information.

Participants who cannot attend the Bataan event will only receive 2 CE's for this course.

Lunch and a picnic dinner will be provided at the event on Sunday.

We also welcome volunteers. To either volunteer for the event or to register for the class call us at 505-872-2023. We hope you will join us.

Free Chair Massage by CM Students at BODIES Exhibition!

World Massage Conference Contest - Top 10 finish for CM!

On Monday and Tuesday of this week was the World Massage Conference. It was an online event. A "Massage school makeover" was part of this event. For the past 9 months students, alumni, faculty and staff have been able to vote for their favorite massage school. There were over 1,000 entries and Crystal Mountain was chosen to be in the top 10! We didn't win, but we came close. The decision wasn't based on the number of votes but rather on the quality of what people had to say about their favorite school and the owner's (Linda's) essay was a deciding factor. Although we didn't win the $70,000 prize, we did get free admission to the conference and will receive a small bonus for making it into the top 10!

Lecture at BODIES Exhibition by CM Faculty

On Wednesday November 10, one of our faculty members, Gurubhai Khalsa, gave a lecture at the "Bodies" exhibition located at the Albuquerque Convention center. On December 4, our students will be at the exhibition giving free chair massage to the general public.
