As a graduate of Crystal Mountain, I cannot recommend this school highly enough. The faculty and staff are top notch. All of them are excellent body-workers in their own right. They are not only knowledgeable, but also compassionate, kind beyond words, and very realistic about what it takes to succeed in this business. The curriculum is strongly based in research, but the intuitive portion of massage is also well-explored and encouraged. I came out of the program not only knowing how to give a good massage, and well-prepared for the National Certification Exams, but also prepared for the realities of business ownership and the ethics of bodywork. The instructors and the director have continued to be available to me after graduation, for advice, support, encouragement, and friendship.
I learned so much more than massage at this school. I grew as a human being. Making the decision to go to massage school is a big deal. You have to pick the right school for you. Going to Crystal Mountain truly was a life-changing experience for me.
