Description: Julie and Judy will explore the definition of “dual relationships” as it applies to the profession of massage therapy and bodywork and look at it from a historical perspective. We will be looking at the spectrum and range of circumstances where the possibilities of dual relationships exist and evaluating the potential risks and consequences involved. We will also address possible ways of setting up boundaries of protection in association with dual relationships.

  Triad Therapy Demonstration by Gregory Goodson
Description: Come for an exciting FREE demonstration of Triad Therapy techniques given by the person who developed the modality: Gregory Goodson! An LMT since 1989, Gregory's studies in massage modalities have taken him to special programs in Hawaii, a six month retreat in Australia and other locations to work under world reknowned masters. His areas of expertise include Lomi, CranioSacral Therapy (CST), Polarity, Shiatsu, Reiki, SomatoEmotional Release (SER), Chi Gong and Tai Chi. • Integrative Shiatsu I - 15 hrs | 25, 26 & 27
  (Combining Western Science w/ Oriental Healing)

Description: This weekend is the first session of a three part program that includes 45 hours of instruction and requires participants to deliver 10 hours of clinical practice with written case studies for a total of 55 CEUs. Gurubhai will introduce structural integration techniques in combination with the Namikoshi Shiatsu style directed at opening minor and major blockages along the nervous system.

Description: Gregory has created this therapy based on his study of the theory and practice of various modalities. He evolved this methodology by combining different aspects of several modalities which seemed appropriate for the individual client’s needs, based on their presenting symptomology.
In this class you will be introduced to aspects of Polarity, Reflexology, Chakra, 5 Element, Jin Shin Do, Astrology, Ayurvedic, Kinesiology, and Acupressure modalities. You will then learn how to apply these aspects to create a treatment plan (based on symptoms presented from your class partner) and then execute that plan.

Description: This weekend is the second session of a three part Integrative Shiatsu program (please see the description above under Part I for more about the entire program). Gurubhai will show more advanced techniques for combining structural integration with the Namikoshi Shiatsu style. In this session he will also introduce the 5 Chinese Elements and the 12 acupuncture meridians with emphasis on the important points that respond best to touch and manipulation to resolve blockages and harmonize this energy system. The Shiatsu style used will be Masunaga to identify Kyo’ and Jitsu conditions, the most common imbalances.

Description: This weekend is the third and last session of this three part Integrative Shiatsu program (please see the descriptions above under Parts I & II for more about the entire program). Gurubhai will cover highly advanced techniques for combining structural integration, the Namikoshi Shiatsu style, the 5 Chinese Elements, and the 12 acupuncture meridians to resolve blockages and harmonize this energy system. As in the prior sessions, the Shiatsu style used will be Masunaga to identify Kyo’ and Jitsu conditions, the most common imbalances. Case studies from participants' clinical practices will be reviewed and discussed (see part I). Upon completion of all requirements, participants will be awarded 55 CEUs!
