 Established in 1980, Crystal Mountain was one of the first massage therapy clinics in Albuquerque.  We began teaching massage therapy classes in 1982 through the Continuing Education program at the University of New Mexico.  Interest in massage grew from these classes, and in 1988 we expanded to a 200 hour massage certification program.  With the passage of the New Mexico Massage Therapy Act in 1992, we expanded our program to offer 650 hours of comprehensive education.  In 2015, Crystal Mountain Institute became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which ushered in a new era of community involvement and education. We now offer 720+ hours of Massage Therapy Education with option to include our 36-hr Certified Kinesio Taping® Practitioner series. As a non-profit, we also provide a free community service to veterans struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder with our Yes Ma'am program.


OUR MISSION IS TO NURTURE GENERATIONS OF TOUCH-CENTERED THERAPISTS, BE A WELLNESS RESOURCE FOR THE COMMUNITY, AND TO PROMOTE THE BEST PRACTICES OF OUR PROFESSION.
